Both reels are direct drive,right hand retrieve,with smooth cork drags. The #3 has never been used and comes with an extra spool. The #4 made 2 trips to Baja 15 years ago and has sat in the closet since. The #4 has a COMPLETE rebuild kit,including new handle thrust washers,multiple cork drags and screws. The #3 fishs a 8-11 line and #4 450 yards backing with 12 line. Beautiful reels.
