Hello everyone. Things at Kiene's Grizzly Hackle Fly Shop are really heating up for the Inaugural Spring Exposition, EXPO, this coming Saturday, April 20, 2013, 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
We have been getting the store ready with many rods, reels, waders, and many many many misc other items, "RED TAGGED" at 20-40% or more discounted.
All the 7 guides have confirmed their presentations, and they gearing up to take YOU out on their donated guide trips. Register before the event or at the shop to have a chance at winning. Speak to the guides at their respective tables/presentations for more info.
Indian Creek Lodge, Douglas City, on the Trinity River will be the featured donator this year with a 2 day guided, 2 rod, and full accommodation stay, valued at $995. Everyone gets one chance to register for free. Check out who else has offered a stay! It is on the Pit River, and they have a new owner, hint hint. Check it out!
The 20 plus fly tiers have packed their vises, materials, and high intensity wit. Come and ask them questions about their ties.
Casting for Recovery, Cast Hope, the 2 chapters of Trout Unlimited, Northern California Council, Federation of Fly Fishers, NCCFFF, and signed books by noted authors will be there, with one "SPECIAL" author being in attendance. It has to do with a new children's book, hint hint!
Again, Vic's Ice Cream will be present, and they, with the Kiene's Grizzly Hackle Fly Shop, will donate all proceeds to Cast Hope
Spread the word as we have fly fishing clubs from Tracy, Auburn, to Davis, to the Granite Bay area, and of course, Sacramento to answer all questions new people to fly fishing or true veterans may wish to ask.
Things are in the works for radio and TV coverage as we speak.
All major fly fishing manufacturers will be present displaying their wares, ie the most current 2013 line(s), with other very interesting items they represent. Sage, Rio, Redington, Orvis, SIMMS, Ross, Umpqua, Scientific Anglers, Pro Tubes, Costa Eyeware, TFO, Beulah, and many more, to include Burkheimer fly rods.
Don't forget the food and drinks, free of charge.....everyone gets a free Door Prize Raffle ticket for many great prizes like lines, nets, and other misc fly fishing related products kindly donated by our loyal manufacturer representatives. The Sales Raffle is another way to win "GOOD STUFF!".
Show us what you know at the Distance Casting Contest sponsored by Rio. Everyone gets a free 3 pack of tapered leaders just for attempting to throw the competition tournament line and a special "mystery" 5 wt rod.
