Hi Ken. I haven't weighed it, but I'm guessing under 100. Sorry, but I don't think you can car top it. I slide it into the back of my Suburban. If you have a pickup, it could slide into the bed easily.

No truck in my parking space. I have a Saturn Vue. I'm pretty sure it's quite a bit smaller than your Suburban. Laying down the back seat might give me enough room depth wise (with a few feet sticking out?).

It is 48 inches wide at the gunnel, and 14 inches deep.
