Want to buy a 4 or 5 wt switch rod not longer than 11' x" ft

David, I have a brand new never even lined 6wt Sage One Switch rod, 11'6" that I purchased by mistake. I took it out and looked at it once and realized it was not what I wanted.

Would sell for $550.00 and I would pay for the shipping.

I really want a 4 wt but a 5 wt would be considered, I not want a 6 wt or 5/6wt .... I am looking to extend my single hand rod's spey casting ability while I fish some larger streams....Bill C who recently passed was correct that my 5wt ONE with a Grand Line (he sold me at Kiene's) and it 9'6" length (which he advised me to get) is excellent at spey casting.

That said I appreciate the PMs

Specifically I would like a Sage, Ross Reach, or beulah Platinum (othere beulahs are too soft for me), I prefer fast action rods. I am in no urry cuz I can spey cast my single hand 30 to 40 ft which works .....

I love my 5 wt Z-Axis switch for for trout. I use a Rio Atlantic Steelhead line on it and it overhead and roll casts great (even does two handed spey casts to some degree). I use the same rod with 28 ft. of LC13 when fishing for shad from a boat to get down deep.

Thanks! Both Aron and Frank R have a 4wt One Switch I got to cast Frank's and it was amazing ....I am tempted by the 6110-4 Z axis switch but this is too close to my 6126-4, if only funds were not an issue.

The 5110-4 Z-Axis is a sweet rod. It spey casts like a dream with a 400 grain Flight. Bruce had a 6110-4 and he didn't like it as much as the 5110-4. If I didn't have the 5110-4 I'd probably get a One 4116-4.

Anyone reading this and has access to a one 4116_4 I will barter 850$ in automotive repairs for the rod ... Aka guides that get these at guide deals.
