I landed one out of Camp Far West years ago - set it on a Dinner Plate , the Crappie hung over both sides by 2-inches on both sides . Big enough for me !!

A 17"er is big to me. A big crappie will have shoulders on it. Congrats Scott on a truely big 20". Wow!!

I have no crappie flies at all and would really love to have some. I have caught only 2 so far. the big one in a pond I fished for years and one other in a another pond I have fished for years. I do not think they like me.
