8'6" J Kennedy Fisher 7 wgt 2 pc fiberglass from a blank. Labeled 8'6" 3 5/8 oz 7 wgt line J Kennedy Fisher L Kenney 2013. Brown glass with brown spigot ferrule. Wrapped brown with 3-turn yellow spiral wraps at grip, ferrule and tip. Bright aluminum downlock walnut insert reel seat with 5/8" cork/rubber butt. Snake Brand black nickel snakes and Mildrum carbide stripping guide.
A friend purchased the new/old stock blank on eBay, then decided he didn't want it and gave it to me. Ferrule is a hollow brown glass spigot rather than solid. I've never seen a hollow Fisher spigot ferrule so, while it was done correctly, it may not have been ferruled by Fisher. I reinforced it internally though it likely doesn't need it. The reel seat is a Lemke prototype that Joel sent me, of unanodized aluminum. Rod is new, test cast but never fished. It's an exceptionally nice, smooth rod with a WF7F or ST8S: pretty much identical to a comparable Winston glass rod I used to own. $225 in cloth sack but no aluminum tube includes shipping via USPS Priority Air, insured, in the U.S.. Overseas shipments by quote.
