Looks like some interesting water. After all of the crazy run-off clears that should be a fun place to explore and fish.

Sierra,
I have fished some water years ago up by Washington. Looks very similar. Went up stream all the way to the end of the road and started hicking. Semi rugged, beautiful, brown and rainbow, interesting mining debris, and the deep holes were crystal clear and reminded me of lime jello. Lovely memories.
Thanks for the flash back.

By the sounds of mining debris you were hiking the south Yuba.. The pics I have of hear are of a 10 mile drainage from bowman creek known as canyon creek.. It dumps off into the south Yuba and is also the town of washingtons drinking water.. And I'm glad you enjoyed the pics:)

These are pics of canyon creek a drainage from bowman lake.. My goal this summer is to hike 10 miles up it and get to bowman and weaver lake and see some hidden waterfalls I saw on google earth!
