I did a trip to the coast earlier this winter and found some fish willing to pose for a photograph. I have had my share of problems photographing the chrome fish. Any direct sun and you get a picture of a reflector. Rain and clouds or low light and and they come out drab or out of focus. If I get enough fish and try a few different things I can usually come up with something and they really are awesome creatures so it is worth doing. Some of these I underexposed on the photo editor that came on Windows to reduce the glare. Most of these are in the 6 to 10 pound range. There were a few fly guys on the river but mostly bait and plug guys. I hope you like the pictures. I would like think they are spawning now but we probably need some rain for that to happen.

Very exciting to see such solid fish wth adipose intact! Love the fish in the net pic. Third fish is so stout it's shaped like a tuna! Don't be shy, you need to post more often, mister! Congrats.

All of those are beauties! You must live close to the River with all of them being so fresh! I'd settle for just one that nice.

Nice fish. Good handling!

There are plenty of beautiful and healthy wild fish in this state that are worth protecting!

Thanks for sharing.

Those are all indicator caught fish. I have caught fish swinging and I like it but I also like floating rivers and fishing the indicator. I have come close a couple of times to pulling the trigger on getting serious about swinging but have not done it. I expect at some point I will get in deeper on swinging but for now the mix of fishing I do is good. I look in the classifieds but the spey rods in the size you want don't come up much and go fast when they do. I might have to pay retail.

The heads and the shape of some of them is very tuna like. Some of the heads have the look of a hard, polished steel torpedo.

GRAND fish! Love seeing all of the fish....as in adipose fin and all. Looks like the "race track" still has "racers".
