The annual Morrison's Lodge Steelhead trip is one of my favorites.

It is very close ( 6 hours up I5) for us who live around Sacramento.

They are famous for their beautiful classic lodge and fine food.

They have a bunch of nice 2 bedroom cabins with full bathrooms.

It is 3 days of guided drift boat fishing for Steelhead/double occupancy (prime month is October).

4 days lodging and all meals.

Their guides can handle anglers of all skill levels too.

Most of us all fish with Spey rods now but you can fish any way to like.

You can bring your wife or a parent or child because they can guide anyone.

You don't need a partner because we usually have plenty of people sign up.

If you are heading to the Pleasanton Show this week, stop by the Morrison's Rogue River Lodge booth and talk to Lowel. A good opportunity to learn about the lodge and Rogue fishery. We have a couple spots already filled so let Lowel know if you would to join in on the trip. Our dates: October 7-11. Four nights lodging and three days of fishing.
