Found a link to a study of the affects that drugs entering rivers/stream/waterways on FliFlicker. This study was completed in Sweden. Check it out at:

When you consider the affects that chlorinated water has on fish (see prior thread), adding drugs flushed down the toilet.... Soon the Bluegill (already aggressive) will grow teeth and become dangerous.

Reminds me of this one a couple years ago in Alberta. http://digitaljournal.com/article/295321

I was up there a few years ago and fished a stretch of river that had much different fish (significantly larger bows) from the other nearby stretches and rivers. My friend there, a biologist in their fisheries dept, later told me that they'd measured high veterinary steroids in the water directly below a specific dairy farm, and they suspected runoff.
