Yuba Skwalas?

Anyone know the latest? Thinking of heading there Monday (or the American). PM's are fine.

Was up there last Sunday, saw only one Skwala. An adult landed on some very fishy water and went untouched for as far as I could see it float. Fishing was very slow, and we threw dries, nymphs and streams for about 5 hours. Curious if anyone has seen things heat up with the warmer weather?

FYI, Had an epic winter day on the Truckee on Friday!

Fish_ON, thanks for the info. I unfortunately had to bail out today, but at least it doesn't sound like I'm missing anything too great.

Rossflyguy, while the weather was warm and gorgeous...got quite a bit of action on streamers...a ton if you consider it was mid-February. Doubt it will continue though with the weather turning colder again tomorrow. Had some success under an indo as well but not one key item on the menu. Small winter stones, midges were out.
