Made a run over to the coast while im here in the great PNW. Needed some fish tacos and a couple small slabs of Myrtle burl for some projects back home. The coast never disapoints when it comes to healing the sole. stayed in a motel right on the bluff and the 15-20' swell thundered me to sleep.
Being on midwest time, its hard to sleep past 5 here. so at the first hint of light, i set up the camera in the window for a long, 7 minute exposure. Interesting how the long exposure made the angry sea look so tranquil.

"The sea was angry that day my friends..." (for you Sienfeld enthusiasts :) )

Got some cool long exposure wave action. These shutter speeds were between 1 and 2 seconds.

Interesting how even when the sun first came up, it was dark enough for the long exposure.

It would be a dis service if I didnt include at least one bird image.
