At Boyd's Pump last Friday 2-1-2013, they started dumping smolt. Three trucks dumping two loads a day. Earlier in the week they had been putting pens together in the parking lot and said they would begin using them on Monday of this week. I was there this morning and there were NO pens anywhere?????? (Unless they were underwater) :) Maybe they're using them at Live Oak or at the Yuba City ramp??? I don't know.
Curious thing though, we didn't take a single fish around the dock or downstream. I'm sure they'll start to show soon but we need more water flow to bring the mass migration up, otherwise, all the action will be over on the Sac. and lower in the system.
