Can anyone provide me with information regarding a good put-in and take-out for a 6 hour float on the NV side of the Truckee? I will heading up there on 2/8 and fishing through the weekend. Weather dependant, I may tow my raft up.
Thanks,
Dave

Dog Valley Rd in Verdi to Patagonia (White fir) is a popular stretch. If you are going east of town hire a guide. Lots of tempting places to park that are guaranteed to result in a break-in (especially with CA plates). Walk and wade is a better option if you don't know the ins and outs of the area.

Thanks Ralph,
Perhaps I should bring my trunk monkey along. Looks like I will fishing alone now so the float is out.
