WTB Conventional Rod

Don't know if I will get ostracized for asking this on this board or not. I am heading to the keys and I need a good Permit/Bone/Red Fish rod for the ol' fiance and for those windy days. I am looking for a decent 7' fast action rod with a soft tip (baitcaster or spinning)

Also a good tarpon rod for fishing the channels. If you don't have one I would love some recommendations on what to buy.

Hi Garrett,
You might want to check out Albright's Explorer spinning rods. I have a few of them for travel (they are 4 piece!) so they pack down nicely. Not too expensive either.
