We need more pics of catches on the board.
No story needed.
Now on with the pics.

Whether they're big or small. On a dry, nymph, streamer or an egg. Wild or planted. Trout are always fun to catch.

If you'd like to post your pictures larger like how mine look try this:

I use an easy way to post larger pictures by using www.photobucket.com (PB).

First you have to create an account (free) on PB.

Download the picture(s) from your computer into your new PB account.

Once the images are downloaded and you see little "thumbnail" images of each of your photos, hover your curser over the image (DO NOT CLICK ON THE IMAGE) until you see a gear cog at the upper right hand corner of the image, move the curser over the cog, then click on "Get Media Links."

Next left click in the box under “IMG Code.” This will copy the code for you to be able to paste it into the forum text box in which you type for the message board.

Now paste that code (Control + V) into the forum text box, you will see this type of a code:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...IMG_5118-4.jpg

After you paste the IMG code should click on preview at the bottom of your post to make sure that the link worked and that you image is now displaying in your post.

You will have to repeat this process for every image that you want to post, but they will display much larger and look better.

Side note: I usually hit the ENTER key and put a few paragraph spaces between each image some that there is a little space between each image.

Also, if you find any of these instructions difficult to follow please give me some feedback to simplify my instructions.

It think Someone posted earlier in this thread, but you need to create an account at photobucket.com. Upload your photos there, and they provide an image link you can use for different forums, emails, etc... those images will appear in regular size.

It's added work, but in my opinion makes the threads here much more fun

Darian
01-14-2013, 08:05 PM
Not sure you guys know that you can make a full sized display from the thumbnails by clicking on them. No need to use Photobucket, etc...., unless you want to.

If you want to line them up like Jaybirds shots use photobucket. It'll resize them for you. To put text in between the pics or just space them out hit the enter button once or twice right after the pic.

Hit the 'go advanced' to check how it'll look.

Good stuff!!! The pic discovering that the fish is alive reminds of the time I helped man the fishing pond at the sportsmans show in the Cow Palace (during the early 70's). I helped a 5 year old hook/land his first fish. It was a large one and as it came over the rail, I remember his eyes became as big as pie plates, he dropped the rod, ran over to his dad to hide and peer out from behind him.... The whole place was chuckling.

Sweet brown trout Gangster, they have that "Montana gold" color to them.

Thanks TS! Yesterday was a really good day on the water.
I was fishn dries in the am...tiny stims.
Long 30+ft down stream drifts.
Hard to set that sz 22 dwn stream....

One drift i remember quite well....I could see the little green foam on the sz20 top fly. COuldnt see my smaller trailer. But all of a sudden a big mouth comes up and eats a bug. Down goes the green foam. Set...! Kinda gentle tho cause earlier I had 2 break off on hook sets.(good ol Jimmy Houston style sets). So this guy got a lighter set to the bank on my right. And boom! He jets off like a rocket. Pulls off another 20ft of line. Im not on my ree. Crank, crank, crank as fast as you can, I think. Hard to keep up with him. Then back down the river.....zzzzzzzzzz, goes my drag. If you were watching you probably would have laughed at my "ear to ear", grin. The fish continued to tug me little 3wt around. Until I managed to get him into me for a couple pics and a nice good bye and thank you. I sure hope that wasnt my "day", for 2013 cause it sure felt like it :)

6766Fished with two of my fishing buddies on Sunday. Floated the lower Yuba. Tough as usual, but was rewarded w/ this nice bow. Taken late in the day on a March Brown dry. Great day on the water w/ a couple of great guys to share it with.

Donkeyhunter007, I don't know what it is about that spot but I always see fish pulled out of it. Never have fished it myself because there is usually several people there when I go by headed down lower.

Josh fish, +2 on that spot. Somebody is always planted in that run from sun up to sundown. I have got down there at o-dark to sneak in, but nope somebody beat me. I think people sleep stream side just to claim that run.. Must be fishy! Nice fish donkey.

Whoa Nelli!! That is a nice fish. I'm amazed at the quality of fish that
the Lower Sac produces every year.
