Terry Thomas and friends just returned from their annual trip to El Salto Reservoir for LMB.

I'd like to clear up Bill's comment. We actually had a very good trip! Angler's Inn always puts together a quality experience. What we did face this year was a tremendous amount of shad in the lake. The bass were not holding in the shallows as they usually do at this time of the year. From the the board that logs the large fish of the day, we saw more big bass than in the past five years. The numbers were not there for the fly anglers, however, we did land more big fish than ever before. I managed to land the largest bass of my career: 10 lbs 8 oz.

WOW!!! Terry, that Bass is worth the trip down there by itself!! Well,.... Maybe when combined with good food, tequila and fun.... Good job!!! :cool:
