American River Report

Just a report from the river--

The river is back to 2000cfs release, but it's backed up from the Sac all the way to the damn dam. Looks like a lake out there!

River is dirty and won't be fishable until the Sac itself comes down, regardless of the american flows and how they come out from the dam.

Bummer. But, this should bring in some good fish!

Hi so if I wanted to drive down to the American from Truckee and blissfully/mindlessly fish a #6 boss, I'm wondering if I can assume that:
The river is back in shape?
Eager fish are stacked up and ready to bite?

John, I tend to fish very low in the river, and the runs I fish are still not in shape.....
