When I started out in the fishing tackle business (1965) in a big full service sporting goods store we had all those old streamers but over the years most of them just kept faiding away. Many were on very long (8x) Carlisle hooks.

Grey Ghost, Edison Tiger, Mickey Finn, Coachman, Black Ghost, Black Nosed Dace, Little Rainbow Trout, Supervisor, Spruce......


A few like the Mickey Finn seemed to survive......for a while.

The onset of the Woolly Bugger did them in finally.

Those certainly are nicely tied classic streamers at a low price. Classic streamer patterns aren't seen much on the west coast any longer but are still in use in places on the east coast. I'd say those flies are a very good buy for anyone who wants a display of classics. :cool:
