Vintage Hardy St John Reel

Made in England and in overall very good condition, some evidence of use as shown in the pictures. It is a steelhead size reel that is 3-7/8" in diameter and weighs 9 oz. Strong adjustable check, nice and tight.

Yes this is good size for switch, small spey or SH, a very versatile reel.

I have included some better pics after doing a cleaning lube. There was a lot of old gum on the inside of the spool that I took off and some of the enamel came off too. No big deal but I thought I should mention it.

I have a newer version of this reel and it is absolutely wonderful on my 6110 switch. Great price as well, especially with a brass foot and rivets.
