Been hittin the Delta hard for a good 5-6 years now for LMB and Stripers. Having way to many sub par days chasing Stripers we finally had it all come together. I threw flies the whole time while my brother and nephew threw conventional gear. My biggest was 28' The Lunker Punker produced a 30" and had one on that was bigger.

Here is mine

WOW!!!! Nice fish!!! You guys really hit 'em good.... Do you suppose the dark back/white belly pattern was taken for a Lamprey??? Whatever it was/is, it's a good looking fly.

I have no idea what they took that fly as but they attacked it. If it was not tied so well that thing would be in Shambles right now Dan is good at what he does. The action is awesome I think it can be taken as many things, Pike Minnow, Big shiner, juvenile Steelie or Salmon who knows. They wanted to eat it and that's all that matters. I think the size profile did not hurt either so far bigger flies has equaled bigger fish. Also the same fly I stuck my big large-mouth on a few weeks ago.

Good for you guys!

I was within eyesight of where some of those pictures were taken, but decided not to head out there. I've made that mistake before, and I'm sure I'll do it again. :-/
