I have the 489-5 and if that's any indication of the 3wt, this is one sweet fly rod for those that prefer a very capable medium action. The 5 piece rod makes it ideal for travel, easily fits in your bag.

Thanks for the plug guys! I'm trying to clean up the closet like we all do from time to time. Like you guys mentioned, it's a sweet rod and should get more use.
