Just wanted to relate yet another great experience I've had with Kienes. Finally the itch to get into a 2 handed rod for steelhead fishing got to be too much. I had several good conversations that were very educational with a number of different staff at Kienes, in particular Aaron and Bill really gave me a ton to think about. After a lot of deliberation, I finally pulled the trigger today on a new switch rod and am quite happy. Although I can't say that the casting was exactly a thing of beauty, I'm afraid that was quite obviously "driver error". I've got a lot to learn there...
Once again though, I've been really impressed at the quality of people working at your shop Bill, and after meeting you today ... well I can see where that comes from. Can't say enough about how positive all my dealings have been, and ultimately how much I have learned from your shop and this board.
Nicely done again,
:D JB
P.S. Tim would be proud of how my tying skills have progressed since his class too!
