These are recent videos of the progress on the Shasta Big Springs Ranch.

Big Springs Creek is a 2.5 mile tributary off the upper Shasta River, which is a tributary of the Klamath River.

Good things are happening........5 years ago this was a cow pasture with virturally no fish.

These are recent videos by the biologist, Carson Jefferes, who has been working on this project for years now.

I talked with Carson Jefferes from UC Davis today and he said they have a bunch of King Salmon in there right now.

They get Silver Salmon and Steelhead too.

The Nature Concervancy bought the ranch, then fenced off the stream so the cattle can't get to it now. This project has been very successful with more fish every year.
