Launched out of Lauritzens with a buddy Saturday and fished the sac side for a dozen shaker stripers, and a bonus 7 lb jack salmon that crushed a psychedelic herring.
Lot of funs, buddy has the pics so none to show. But a lot of fun. First trip out on the fly this year, been rehabbing after shoulder surgery.
Highlight of the day was the salmon, lowlight was a strike that I came back on, not that hard imo, and watched my rod explode right above the first ferrule. 6 or 7 fish no problem, but a piece of stick 2 ft long did the trick.
Ah well, overall cannot be sad- a great day out.
