BC Steelhead Trip

I did a week in BC in September chasing steelhead. I fished out of a the Steelhead Valhalla Lodge on the Sustut River, one of the tribs of the Skeena. This is a first class outfit with great guides and even better food and hospitality. The water was lower than normal and gin clear. Our group did pretty well for the week considering the low water conditions. The upside was we had fabulous weather the whole week.

I had a blast casting my spey rod an swinging big nasty streamers for some of the most amazing wild fish in the world. It was a trip of a lifetime. I can't wait to go back.
