Miguel Cory strikes again ! 11 year old Miguel, who is a Kiene's regular and has many "Big Fish" shots on this board, landed his biggest Trout to date. A beast of a 29" Brown Trout. Fishing the Yellowstone River in Montana with his little brother Wesley and father Capt. Dave Cory on a guided drift boat trip this morning. Young Miguel also has to his credit a Roosterfish-Yellowfin Tuna-Dorado-an 11# Striper and a 7# Smallmouth--- All on Fly Rod.
Way to go little man !!

I just got off the phone with Dave and Miguel in Montana. Miguel was throwing a black streamer fly supplied by the guide. This is unlike Miguel , who is already a dry fly snob. He was using his 5 wt and cast to, stripped, hooked and fought this beast like he does all his fish, by himself with no help from the guide or his dad until it came time to net the big brown. The guide who is on this river 200 days a year, said it is the biggest fish he has seen in 3 years. He commented that several fish in this class are hooked each year but not landed. Miguel you are a bad ass, but those of us who have fished with this kid already knew that. Way to go.

Maury,

Some people always have their dropped bread land jelly side up! Sadly, my bread seems to have alot of dirt in it. What a fish. I can only imagine the excitement.

That's an amazing trout!!!! I'm jealous; I have never caught any trout that gets close to that. Good for him.

Maybe his dad is looking to adopt? I want to go fish for all those species.

All seriousness, there aren't enough superlatives for this one! Well done indeed young man.

This kid is putting a lot of us to shame!
And makes me feel like so much less of a fisherman.

Great job though kid! Keep up the good work.
