For those of you who have ventured to Baja, especially the La Paz area down to the East Cape know that rain is very scarce. Well, I have to tell you in the last three weeks, they've had more rain and than in a 3 year period. Today they closed the road for a while from the airport to downtown As many of you know, that flat part just past Walmart and Sam's Club is an arroyo, usually dry but now a river flowing to La Paz bay. I love to see thunder and lightning in the Sea of Cortez but from a distance.
The road out to Muertos Bay is flowing like a river, some parts of La Paz are flooded. There are a couple good things coming out of this bad weather, green hillsides, fat cows, so fat they can barely get off the road and hopefully some eating dorado and tuna.

OH YEAH, before I forget they also had a 6.3 earthquake 45 miles north of La Paz on Tuesday.

I will be posting photo's and some video as the week goes on, hopefully not building an arc.

Jay send some of that rain to Northern California. It's calling for triple for the next few days.
