in good working condition. Made in England with the 2 screw line guard, It has some engraving on the back plate including the date 16 August 1975 which is probably when it was originally sold. It has the normal amount of rim rash to be expected from a reel of this vintage. Strong adjustable check, no dents or wobbles.

$175 + shipping.

E-Mail me at laskier@att.net or PM with questions.

There is no crack or chip on the line guard also no engraving. On the backplate there is "Made by Hardy Bros Ltd England" engraved.

Are you sure that isn't a little crack / missing piece on the left side of the line guard ? sure looks like it in the photo

I like the unique engraving..

That is the older two screw line guard.

Reel looks good in the photos other than some wear & tear from freestone stream fishing.

We have new ones from Korea for $249.00

I picked up a vintage LRH with one screw for nearly the asking price. Looks like normal wear & tear and gear teeth seem to be in excellent condition. Looks like the area in question is missing some of the leading. I don't know the seller, never bought from him but have seen many items being sold and no complaints.

I bought a hardy from laskier and he was top notch to deal with and so are his reels. He has many hardys if you follow the classifieds and I would trust his word on what he says.

Brian,

What you are seeing on the line guard is a shadow, rest assured there is no chip there.
