I was at Crowley in my big boat Saturday 9/22 and it was slow. They've drawn so much water out of it that there's only 6' in front of GB and mostly nothing but dinks in that area. I pulled one good rainbow at 9:00 am, pumped 2 bloodworm larva and a bit of daphnia and nothing else.
Moved 1/2 mile towards six bays area in 9' to 11', and marked a lot of fish but only hooked one decent brown in about 2 hours. 4 tiny #20ish pupa and a bit of daphnia and nothing else.
Moved back to GB for a 12" Cutt and could hear the few guideboats that were left, singing the " I got the dinks and nuthin' else blues"
Scratched out 2 more rainbows in 16' at Aligator Pt in the afternoon and packed it in.
Algae still present but not as bad as two weeks before.
Only 6-7' in front of Sand Pt. Didn't fish it.
