Falls in the air

Yesterday morning there was a dusting of snow. Deep frost thismorning. The birds are raveging my feeders.

This is a terrible shot but I couldnt get any closer. A pileated woodpecker chomping my home made suet :-)

Even tho Ive got too many chickadee shots already, these guys were perching in my crabapple tree taking turns at the feeders. I really like these habitat shots!

Downy woodpeckers crack me up. they let me walk right up to them. This guy was 2' from the end of my lens.

Thanks, as always, for the bird pics. Had some small woodpeckers in the area a week or so ago. Think they are Nuttals. See them as they migrate north and south. Keep 'em

I always love your bird photos JBird. You must wake up to chirping every morning.

Seen many hummingbirds around? Since I bought a feeder two years ago they've
become my favorite....love watching them go at it to get sittiing rights.

Once in a blue moon two will sit opposite each other on the feeder, but most of the
time this one male chases 'em all off.

Keep those pics coming....love it.
