I think a 3 3/8" Perfect is a 5/6 line single hand fly reel? This one is right hand crank only.

The Sage 508 is made by Hardy, fully machined, anodized with nickle silver parts. That is a great reel, right or left hand wind, and a single hand 8 weight reel or a cool Switch rod reel or pretty small Spey rod reel.

Bill, you got it right. I would say the perfect 3 3/8" is a great 6 to 7 wt reel. I have put lines for my 5wt switch rod (in the picture) and balances very well. But, I used Power Pro 50lb as backing instead of the regular dacron. 508 is a perfect reel for 5-6wt switch rod or 7-8wt singlehander. Both are classic but from different era. I am open to a reasonable offers.
