pit 1, small bows?

i've been fishing pit 1 and i havent caught any small fish. 13 in and under.
i landed a few bigger fish but there should be smaller fish in the same runs and i can't figure it out . any ideas?

I think the bigger fish in a healthy stream probably push the little fish out of the good feeding spots.

Lots of Squawfish/Sacramento Pike in the Pit River that probably eat the smaller fish?

Maybe the smaller fish live up in the tributaries?

I think squawfish sounds right. I had a similar experience on the Pit, and I hooked a BIG squawfish.
