Anybody fished Frenchmans or Davis this week? We are thinking of going out early tomorrow a.m.. Would be grateful for any updates. Has the water cooled down? Fish Deep? Shallows? We will try them all till the lines tighten up. Thanks :D

Sorry,a little late on the info. Haven't fished up there in awhile but call Dollards Sierra Market in Portola. They have fishing reports there. (530) 832-5251 :fish: on!

Got home about 11:30 last nite, we fished Frenchmans from about 7:30 am, to about 8 pm. The fishing was great, the catching was only OK. My friend and I landed abouth 25 fish, but we had grabs all day long. We had short strikes all the time.
Got half my fish on a green bead headed crystal bugger, the other half on a midge nymph.
A couple had minor cocapods on them, many were clean. Fish ran from abouth 11" up to 19", quite a few 15"-17". Most were very strong fighting fish. Surface water temp was 65 degrees, most fish caught between 10-15' deep. I believe it will continue to get better from here on out. More recreational boaters from Nevada that I want to fish around. But still a beautiful day on the water.
