I'd like to take the grandkids to see salmon returning; preferably to see them holding/spawning in the stream before entering the hatchery. Anyone know if this is possible at the Merced Hatchery just above Snelling? I'm hoping the 1st couple pools/riffles downstream might be accessible with visible fish.
