Terry Thomas is hosting another trip to the famous Morrison's Lodge on the banks of the Rogue River in southern Oregon.

October 8 - 11, 2012

Morrison's Lodge is famous for their food too.

3 days of fully guided drift boat fly fishing with top guides (2 to a boat).

4 night lodging (shared cabins) and all meals for 4 days.

This amazing trip is only $1,385.00 = 6 anglers total.

Not included would be driving 7 hours up and back mostly on Interstate 5 and gratuities.

Call Terry for any questions: 916/769-9112 cell

Don't think about this too long becuase this trip usually fills up fast.

This sounds like a fantastic trip. I know Terry would be a great host, and I've heard from many sources that the fishing has (and will) be great!

I would encourage anyone to go on this trip, Doing the math, minus guide fees (set. 200/day/pp) that is only $195 a day for all food and lodging?

Pretty good deal to me.

I'd go if I wasn't already on another steelhead trip that week!

Yes Jed...it is agreat trip...........anyone would really enjoy it.

Very affordable....some people go every there every year.

They guide "pulling flies or trolling flies" (for non-fly fishers or older folks), indicator fishing (sometime for mid- day) and swinging flies while wading with single hand and two hand fly rods.

Most of our guys wade with two-handed fly rods swing flies.

That time of year the Rogue River Steelhead really chase the fly and eat it.

October is their prime time.....

Rogue River report from the Confluence Outfitters group.

Upper Rogue Report:

According to Gino Bernero, August was good with one to three fish a day. Gino is fishing from the town of Rogue River to Shady Cove and has been very happy with the number of hook ups and solid pulls on most days. As we move into the fall, cooler weather plus a continued influx of new fish could make this the best summer steelhead season in recent years!

Sounds like a good year for the Rogue?

Here is a chance to go catch some nice Steelhead on flies in the Rogue River at the prime time.

Only one spot left so you don't even have to find another person.

It would be Terry Thomas from the shop and total of 5 other anglers.

This is one of the best trips that is not that far from Sacramento.

This is why we go the Rogue river every fall.....
