Leader length

I'm taking my ACR 1397 out on Tuesday for hopefully half pounders. Will be using Skagit Flt with MOW floating tip and wondered what length leader I should use?

With floating MOW tip I would use a tapered 9 footer to 2x.

On a sinking MOW tip I would go 4 feet of 2x.

Thanks Bill. I bought the Skagit line and MOW tips from your shop today and couln't remember what Andy told me.
