A friend turned me on to a link for the Grantham Sedge - a great skater - it uses a piece of nylon cord from a weed eater tied in to extend beyond the eye to dub and attach the wing - - supposed to make a non-sinkable fly without riffle hitching - plan to try it out up on the North Umpqua as well as the Grande Ronde - example photo tied in green butt skunk colors!

Nice Rick, I stiffen the front of mine with some epoxy like you would a bass bug and it makes them throw a nice consistent wake.

Aaron - I just used head cement to stiffen the collar - will see how it functions this weekend!!
