My son, Fritz, and I took Billy Dunn and friends up to the head waters of West Walker for Billy’s bachelor’s party and Boomers (my younger brother) Birthday party. They have never been fly fishing before and it was a great success. They all caught fish!!! Thanks to the DFG planted trout. I headed up river and landed some beautiful Brookes, all on top. There are two campsites right off of HWY 108. We stayed at Sonora Bridge #13, fits 3 tents and plenty of room. There is lots of room between campsites, hard to find these days. I would highly recommend this spot for a beginner. As the pictures show, plenty of back cast room and lots of fish.
