Offered for sale is a great example of the Powell Rod Co's work with graphite. This is a Light Touch series IM6 graphite Troutmaster. Built in the Chico shop, the Troutmaster is a 9 foot 2 piece 2 tip rod. One tip (labeled L for Light) is for fishing 5-6wt lines and another tip (labeled H for Heavy) is for fishing 6-7wt lines. Rod is near mint and comes in the pictured original tube and sock. The tube cap and collar have a few cracks as was common on these Powell aluminum tubes. Nothing is loose and the tube is sound. This is a rare chance at a great trout rod.
