Owls Wading birds and foolin' around with photos

Last Month I was up visitin' the Malhuer Wildlife Refuge and got a bunch of photos. I played with Vignetting a little with some (most) of the photos, Not sure whether I like the result or not??

Burrowing Owls..There was a bunch of them but most beat it into the burrow before I could get set up for a picture..

Here's a series of White Faced Ibis' feeding at sunrise.The light really makes their colors shine at that time of day!

Owls are so cool. There's been a family of Burrowing owls living on the land inside a circular on-ramp on Hwy 880 in North Sac for a couple of years now. The youngsters stand around their burrow and watch the traffic go by while the parents are off hunting. 8)

Wow, so cool!!! More owls, you can never take enough owl pictures for me. I would love to see more burrowing owls but I know they are tough to get.

I dont know how I missed this post! Just wonderful work Mike. The owls are sweet and the reflection shots are too. Especially the first Ibis shot and the wading night heron.
