All the spring babies are now fully fledged. The birds are extremely abundant now. We are having a terrible drought and wherever theres water, theres birds.

Chipping sparrows are funny. they come right up to me as if to say "take my picture" They arent particularly interesting but they sure are friendly. this guys working pretty hard to get my attention.

Song sparrows are everywhere here. Again, pretty uninteresting but I like the look on the spruce tree.

A red bellied woodpecker asking me why I havent filled my feeders lately.

The young cardinals look almost like the adults now. The population on my property has quadrupled with all the fledglings. Hard to tell the kids from the parents and talk about noisy!

I sure do enjoy those photo's. Wonder of Bass take a Cardinal fly??? :lol:

Boy Jay did you ever think your property would have so much variety in feathered friends? It sure seems like your move was spot on for terrific birding adventures right out your window!
