I've had this rod for years and has never failed. Sad to say that i don't fish enough. Was planning to head to the American for Shad on the weekend but it never happen. This was my back up rod and since then I have moved on to the GLX version. The rod is in great shape and I give it a 8/10. I can send pics later today since I'm at work. The rod still holds a lifetime warranty. I think the replace for this rod will be the Cross Current but to my understanding it's not the same. I think Nautikos is probably one of the best old fly rod made my loomis before they were bought out by shimano.
