Very nice fast taper rod with much more feel that the overly stiff S3S and the S4. Has not seen water.

I just want to say this is a great rod. On my first trip to Alaska my wife said get what you need and I wanted w Winston B2x. After Casting the two side by side at Kienes I could not justify the extra ~$250 for the Winston even though I had the green light to get it. It's my favorite 7wt and I use it for the 3S's,,, Silver's, Stripers & Steelhead.

Yes it a great taper. I have this 7wt and a near mint Powell LGA 7wt. One has to go thus I put the E2 in the classifieds. I have cast a few E2s and the 9'6" 8wt is a great rod as well. These are much nicer casting rods than the saltwater tapers that Scott has been marketing for the past 6-7 years.
