This has been one of our best American Shad runs in a long time. June is the top month.

Lots of trout stream fishing going on now too.Jume is a top month.

Don't wait till August to go for these fish.......it will probably be over by then.

Nah Bill, there will still be lots of hungry fish in August..... :)

As for small stream trout--yep, they're very eager to take the dry! We recently got into em last night up in the mountains, and it was great wet wading and watching beautiful wild fish take the dry!

Oh, and shad is ridiculously off the hook. It's hard to NOT catch them.
