I will be fishing in the lower Grande Ronde in mid-July for smallmouths and would like to fish for trout (preferably dry fly fishing) in the upper watershed. Heard good things about the Lostine River but would like more information about other options or more specific information on LR if possible. Always practice C&R and size is not important for wild trout. Hoping that someone with some first-hand knowledge can help a first-time visitor out.
