Looks like the mid-80s to mid-90s for the next 10 days. Not too bad.......
That means fishing more around here in the early AM and lateer PM.
Early and late in the day for Bass & Panfish should be good now.
It also means its time to go swimming or snorkeling too.
To beat the heat many of the Valley residents head up to high elevations (over 5,000 feet) or drive to the cooler Pacific coast.
In the high coutry or on our coast in the evenings you usually need to put on a sweat shirt. Doesn't that sound good?
In both cases you will have cooler weather and better air quality too.
The Shad run is very good this year.
The trout streams are on average very good right now too.
In August you will really want to hit the high country (8,000' +), go to the coast or go to places like Montana or Alaska.
