This is an opportunity I rarely had out west. These loons let me so close I had to zoom back.

In case you didnt notice, these pics were taken from a boat! Yes.... I went fishing...at long last! LOL We caught a mess of 15" bass and the only thing that persuaded me to dig out the camera was a bird. LOL.
in fact, my buddy was landing a fish at the exact moment this shot was taken :-)
