Fished Diamond Lake in Oregon this week with a half dozen good friends. There was a very good callibaetis hatch from 11:00am to 2:00pm. The fish were in 16ft.of water. I had 40 plus fish days three days in a row. Lots of very phatt fish packed with nymphs. A size #16 unweighted callibaetis nymph "pea de leon" (PDL) pattern on a type III uniform sink line was the ticket. I"m heading for 5 DOT Reservoir next week, it should be very good.
