I am very excited to be going on a trip with these guys in late June this summer.

We will be after big Musky with flies and nice Smallmouth Bass too.

We will be using 10 weights for the Muskys mostly because the flies are large.

Probably 7/8 weight rods for the Smallmouth.

Jim Christensen went there for the first time last year and says it is beautiful country that is very remote with almost no other anglers around.

Head guide Brad Bohen has relatives near our shop and comes here every winter to visit and get out of the heavy winters up north.

This fishing trip is not any more expensive than a guided steelhead trips so I think many of you will be going there in the future.

Every time I get to fish for a new species, the Musky, it is a great thrill.

I just read the Montana F+G Regs and they're big on Tiger Muskies in a whole bunch of lakes and streams. Tiger Musky is a cross between a Pike and a Musky and all are sterile so the don't reproduce.

Check out the regs. and find out how close any of those waters are to your place there.
